This is a fun little song at 140 BPM that I worked on during the half time of a football game. It is a great track for beats and fills. Click on the links below to listen, there is a post with the downloadable tracks and you can also subscribe to the Podcast using the link above.
This is the first ever Drum Free podcast. After a couple hours of hard work and the help of some excellent software I was able to get my Podcast on iTunes. Zune has not confirmed the addition yet, but I am thinking that it will also be availible on that system as well. As always I hope you enjoy the free drum practice tracks.
I am going to be making some changes to the site over the next couple weeks. There will be downloadable MP3’s a podcast and some other cool stuff for those that enjoy drumming and music in general. By popular demand I will be adding some new practice songs and will add some collaboration stuff as well.
This is the last bit of fun I get to have for a while. I figured before all of the madness begins I would record one more quick little riff just for fun. Now I have to go back to reality.

I am going to start posting the MP3’s with the flash version of the song so that you can download to your iPod or Zune and jam along. If you make a video of yourself playing to one of these songs I would love it if you posted the video in the comment section.
This is a nice little slow grove that you can sort of get lost in while playing. As always there is three versions. The full track, the metronome track and the drum free track. I hope they help your drum practice.

Thanks, and I hope you enjoy using these tracks for your drum practice!
This is a drum free track to help in drum practice. There are three versions of the song. One is an example track that shows how the song could go. The other is a metronome version that helps keep time during the song. The last version is a drumless track for you to jam to. Have fun practicing with them.
This track is just a simple rock groove at 158bpm. Some people e-mailed me and asked for something a bit more simple and I think this is it. Several beats would work with this track and it is easy to improvise.

I do not have a no metronome version due to a computer problem.

I recorded this drum free track last night. It is a good driving rock groove to practice 4 on the floor.

If you enjoy the drumless tracks let me know by leaving me a reply. I create these mostly for my own use, but if others are enjoying them I will continue to post new songs as they are created.
I wrote this song this evening. I had a computer problem that prevented me from finishing it any further, but it works for a good drum practice track. I am going to re-record all the parts soon and add the rest of the parts to make the song complete. Hope you enjoy playing to it.
This is the full song with drums. They are syncopated a bit and are at 120bpm.
This is the track with a metronome through the entire song.
This is the song with no drums or metronome for practice.
These three tracks are a basic rock grove that I created for helping me learn to play the drums. One of the tracks features bass, drums and guitar – another one bass, guitar and metronome, and the other one bass, and guitar only. It is a good way to practice, let me know if it helps any and I will make more like it.
This is a simple rock beat that I put down so that I could begin to learn drums. One track is the whole song, the other a song with just a metronome to keep the beat, and last a song with just the bare guitar tracks. I think this sort of practice can really help a begging player like myself learn the drums. Hope they help.
